I’m in a rare mid-summer break from shooting weddings, so we took advantage last week and loaded up the car for a trip to Telluride to catch the RIDE Festival. Beck has been one of my very favorite artists for nearly 20 years, so when I saw he was headlining the festival, I immediately bought […]

A couple weeks ago, I had the pleasure of shooting possibly the most beautiful wedding I’ve had to date. Krissy and Brett had their wedding in Union Station in Kansas City, and it was amazing! These two were an absolute pleasure to work with, along with all of their friends and families, and I wish […]

I’ve seen pretty much everything in my time of shooting weddings, but last weekend, there were a lot of firsts for me. The wedding was at Stable Productions Exotic Animal Ranch in Seneca, Nebraska. The owner has built a massive, beautiful ranch, and opened it up for free stays for sick and disabled children. We […]

I had the pleasure of spending the evening with these two last week, exploring Wilderness Park, shooting their engagement photos. As you can see in the photos, much laughter occurred. I have no doubt their wedding will be a blast to shoot in a few months.

Had a great time exploring new parts (to me) of Wilderness Park a couple nights ago. If you look through the titles of my blog posts, it’ll become very apparent to you that Wilderness Park is one of my go-to spots. I’m amazed at how I can find something new and awesome out there each […]

I ventured out to Wilderness Park last night with these two for their engagement shoot. I’m loving this warm February weather we are having! Makes going out on a shoot much more pleasant for everyone. A kind of funny discovery that I made today, that never came up in any of our previous conversations, or […]

It’s time to ring in the new year by posting a few of my favorite images from the past year. There are way too many to fit into one post, so here’s just a small portion of my favorite wedding photos from 2016. I’m truly honored to have been able to work with each one […]

When we showed up to shoot Heather and Toby’s wedding a couple months ago, it was pouring rain, and it was looking like the outdoor wedding was going to have to be moved indoors. It didn’t look promising, but then we got a break in the weather just long enough for the guests to show up and […]

I had a fun evening with these two a couple weeks ago on their engagement session. We had perfect weather, and great light all evening, and ended with a beautiful sunset out at Yankee Hill Lake.

I got to take a break from editing the other night to shoot the Ben Folds concert for The Rococo Theatre. He did not disappoint!
