Iceland

In September, we traveled to Iceland. As a photographer, Iceland has always been near the top of my list of places I’ve wanted to travel to experience firsthand and capture with my camera. It did not disappoint! I was extremely excited for my first ever experience with the Northern Lights, but clouds spoiled those plans the entire time we were there. Oh well, I guess we’ll just have to return…or better yet, switch it up and head to Norway next time. How cool would it be to see the Northern Lights in Lofoten? My favorite part of the trip was our stop at the Blue Lagoon. It’s quite possibly the single best experience of my life. Sadly, my GoPro’s battery had no charge while we were there, and I was definitely not going to risk damage to my big camera by taking it out to the pools, so I have none of my own photos to share from that stop.

This is my photo blog, so I won’t bore you with all of the details of our travels, but I am planning on starting a separate travel blog/vlog in the future, so be on the lookout for that soon. Our next adventure will be in Turkey and Jordan in a couple weeks, so if all goes well, I’ll kick off my travel blog with that trip. All I’ll say for now, is if you’ve ever considered visiting Iceland in any capacity, do it! Even if you just use it as a layover spot to somewhere else in Europe, fly in and spend the night at the Blue Lagoon and continue on your way the next day. It’s less than an hour from the airport. On to the photos!

We flew to London from here. I’ll try to get some of my London highlights posted soon too. Thanks for looking!
